My taste in reading material is wide and varied: SF/fantasy/"speculative fiction", mysteries (police procedurals, mostly), history, fanfic, straight fiction, smutty vampire books, biographies, poetry, cereal boxes, assembly instructions, the fine print, and your mind.

Stranger in a Strange Land - Robert A. Heinlein I'm really torn about my review of this book. Reading it again years after my initial introduction, the sexism is painful, and it's just a little too... smarmy. But its influence is hard to deny. I'd probably give it 3.5 stars if that was an option.
