My taste in reading material is wide and varied: SF/fantasy/"speculative fiction", mysteries (police procedurals, mostly), history, fanfic, straight fiction, smutty vampire books, biographies, poetry, cereal boxes, assembly instructions, the fine print, and your mind.

Kenzie & Gennaro are unusual private eyes - sticking mainly to their old South Boston neighborhood, they know the characters who usually are behind any trouble, and they have local connections that sometimes make all the difference in solving a case. They're also old friends, their relationship dating to grade school.When they reluctantly take up the case of a missing child, they once again are thrust into a situation that dredges up past associations and complicates their own relationship.
