All the Time in the World

My taste in reading material is wide and varied: SF/fantasy/"speculative fiction", mysteries (police procedurals, mostly), history, fanfic, straight fiction, smutty vampire books, biographies, poetry, cereal boxes, assembly instructions, the fine print, and your mind.

Sacred - Dennis Lehane This one didn't do it for me. I think a big part of the "meh" factor was that Lehane took Kenzie & Gennaro out of their Boston neighborhood, which so completely informs who they are. I suspect this was a calculated move, as was the trick of turning certain stereotypes on their heads (the victim isn't necessarily, the rich guy may actually be innocent, etc.) Whatever.
