All the Time in the World

My taste in reading material is wide and varied: SF/fantasy/"speculative fiction", mysteries (police procedurals, mostly), history, fanfic, straight fiction, smutty vampire books, biographies, poetry, cereal boxes, assembly instructions, the fine print, and your mind.

Dead as a Doornail

Dead as a Doornail - Charlaine Harris OK, Ms. Harris, you're beginning to become predictable.

Readers of the series to this point will recognize that the two most sketchy jobs in Sookie Stackhouse's world are 1) cook at Merlotte's, and 2) bartender at Fangtasia.

It's like any TV "mystery" where there's a recognizable actor who's cast in an apparently peripheral role. And who's always discovered to be in the thick of things, once the mystery is unraveled?

'Nough said.
