All the Time in the World

My taste in reading material is wide and varied: SF/fantasy/"speculative fiction", mysteries (police procedurals, mostly), history, fanfic, straight fiction, smutty vampire books, biographies, poetry, cereal boxes, assembly instructions, the fine print, and your mind.

Earthsong - Suzette Haden Elgin, Julie Vedder A gross disappointment after Native Tongue. I suspect Ms. Elgin didn't have much of a plan for the "long game" when she wrote NT, and how she resolved her story in this third volume turned out to be not very satisfying. I re-read Native Tongue and The Judas Rose periodically, but don't even currently own a copy of Earthsong.
